The Coming of the Lord
"From those who live waiting for Me, I can say to you, that not everyone anticipates the rightful manner of My presence during this era, for while some, influenced by ancient beliefs, believe that I am to return to the world as a Man, others believe that I will come in some form visible to every human eye; and very few are those who guess the truth, perceiving that My coming is spiritual." The Book of The True Life: Teaching 279:42
The Announcement
It is written that in the final days the Lord shall return. The prophecies have fully became reality and the Day of the Lord is here. Behold the mystery unveiled...
"...Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven"... (Acts 1:11)"Be ye therefore ready also; for the Son of Man cometh at an hour when ye think not"... (Luke 12:40)The Form of Communication"I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of Man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him"... (Daniel 7:13)"...And then shall appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven; and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of Man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory"... ( Matthew 24:30)"Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him"... (Revelation 1.7)The Prophecies of the End"For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; and there shall be earthquakes in diverse places, and there shall be famines and troubles; these are the beginning sorrows"... (Mark 13:8)"And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations, and then shall the end come"... (Matthew 24:14)"...I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions. And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit. And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the Lord come"... (Joel 2:28-31)The Spirit of Truth"...but the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you"... (John 14:26)
Have the prophecies been fulfilled? The prophecies that announced the new coming of the Messiah have been fulfilled in all of their parts and the Spirit of Truth has made himself heard through human understanding since the end of the past century until the year 1950, starting in Mexico and covering several nations of the Earth. We could easily deduce that the final advent is very close to us (if it hasn't already started) when we see that through the modern systems of global communication, the Evangelist preachers (mainly North Americans) have reached practically every corner of the Earth with the Gospel.Who hasn't had dreams that finally come true? Who hasn't known of great gifts manifested through people of the most diverse human condition?Surely the prophecies of Joel and John's Revelation came true in a way which couldn't pass unaware, even to the most skeptical: the eruption of the Krakatoa volcano in the past century produced a terrible sound which was heard many miles around, and its ashes covered the sun in practically all the planet (see Sixth Seal); there are enough newspaper testimonies from that time which tell the details. And what to say about the famines, which have exterminated thousands of people in the East, also in the last century, and continue to do so in the Third World even at present day? And the terrible earthquakes which during those same years demolished whole nations and of which no one dares to calculate the number of victims? Such was its magnitude. And what other way could the prophecy of Jesus be interpreted when he announced that "nation against nation would rise" than that of the terrible world wars which cost the lives of soldiers and laymen in quantities unimaginable in the past? And couldn't the failure of the monarchies which would become obvious at the beginning of this century have to do with the opening of the Sixth Seal as John describes in the Book of Revelation 6:15?Of course, some would say that all this doesn't constitute anything other than "another millenary movement" like the one that took place in Europe at the end of the first millennium. But what about the tremendous advance of science? And the apparition of terrible weapons and new philosophies? Doesn't all this constitute a reason for reflection and analysis? The spiritual restlessness in which Humanity develops itself tells us about the dawning of a new era, of the disappearance of a world and the birth of another at gigantic steps. The clock of history seems to have sped up and now events which would have taken generations take place in a few years. The spiritual presence of Elijah in the Third Era, in which we live, has been perceived with clarity for many years.See ( "Elijah the Prophet with the Chariot of Fire"); see also ("The Forerunner. The Counsels of Elijah, the Prophet"); see too ("Roque Rojas").
One final note:Couldn't it be that, like the prophet John said, this is the time in which the coming "of a new heaven and a new earth" (Revelation 21:1) is becoming a reality?
